Bob Christensen, President of Roads2.Com, was born and raised in the Northwest region of the United States.  The love of mountains, passion for experiencing different cultures, and travel have always been part of his life.  Bob was an avid rock climber in his early years, and loves to sail.

Bob traveled throughout the United States, Europe, Canada, Mexico and worked extensively in both North and South Asia.  His professional endeavors involved the global telecommunications industry.  Bob has a Master's degree in Urban Information Systems from the University of Washington, Seattle. 


Sathien Chalermchainukul is the Roads2.Com Country Manager - Thailand, Cambodia and Laos.   He was born in his Land of Freedom and Land of Smiles.  His broad range of program management experience in IT, Telecom, Wine, Hospital and golf Industries has taken him to Korea, Taiwan, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Malaysia, New Zealand, and Vietnam.  Sathien lives in Bangkok and also has a 70 rai teak and rubber tree plantation in Chiang Rai.  His daughter is a member of the Queen of Thailand's ceremonial orchestra.  His son is a recent university graudate and involved in the electronics industry.

Beyond Thai, Lao and English, Sathien is fluent in Mandarin and Techew.  Sathien lived in the USA for 10 years.  He holds a Master's Degree in Mathematics from Loyola Marymount University, Los Angeles. 


Tracey Nieto is the Roads2.Com Country Manager - Philippines.  Also pictured is Raffy, her husband.  Both were born and raised in this land called the 'Pearl of the Orient', and it's unique, wonderful blend of Asian, European and American cultures.

The real estate market is Tracey's expertise.  Raffy is a well-traveled telecom and IT sales and support manager.  Both understand what it takes to make a pleasant, memorable, 'boutique-style' visit to the Philippines.

Between Tracey and Raffy, they are fluent in English, Tagalog (the main dialect in the Philippines), Spanish, German and Mandarin.  They have 3 young children.  Two of them are involved in the local performing acts scene and prestigious Theatre companies in the Philippines.


Lucia Tow is the Roads2.Com Country Manager - Malaysia & Singapore.  She started her involvement in several IT and telecom   implementation activities nearly 20 years ago, and has held Operations Manager positions in several different software-solution-based companies. 

Lucia was born and raised in Malacca, Malaysia.  One of her hobbies is 'coin collecting'.  Her husband still guides fishing tours.  One of their favorite get-away places to relax is Tasik Kenyir, a lake near the east coast of Malaysia that is larger in size than Singapore.

Beyond Bahasa Malaysia and English, Lucia is fluent in Mandarin, Cantonese, and Hokkien.


Gede Partha Wijaya is the Roads2.Com Country Manager - Indonesia.   He was born in Bangli, a small town in the center of Bali.  Gede's father and late mother being Hindu priests raised him in the strict customs of the Hindu religion.  Balinese traditions and culture flow strongly in his blood.

Gede graduated from the tourism academy in Udayana University-Bali in 1994.  He began his tourism career in Jakarta, and then  returned home to join one of the leading travel companies in Bali.   He has been involved in the travel industry for over 14 years.

In addition to Udayana University, Gede studied at the Alliance France Institute in Denpasar.  Beyond Bahasa Indonesia and English, he is fluent in Javanese, Balinese and French. 


Tran Thuy is Country Manager - Vietnam.  Her favorite places in Vietnam are Phu Quoc Island, Ha Noi, Ho Chi Minh City, and Da Lat.  Also Oxford-UK, Tunis-Tunisia, Rome, Berlin and California, USA are special memories for her. 

As a journalist in Hanoi, travel and the experience of other cultures has always been part of Tran's life.  When she is not working,  Tran enjoys 'personal writing' and visiting art galleries.  Beyond Vietnamese and English, she has a grasp of  many other  conversational phrases.


Denise Gifford is Country Manager - USA.  Denise and her husband live on their 48-foot boat in Seattle.  She received her Master's Degree in Business Administration.  She has worked as a Financial Controller and Human Resources Director for many companies ranging from manufacturing to high-tech software engineering.  Denise has considerable travel experience to Sweden, Europe, western Canada, and Mexico.  When Denise is not working she enjoys cooking, walking, singing in a professional women's choir, and knitting.  Favorite travel spots for Denise are the USA San Juan Islands and Puerto Vallarta, Mexico.


Tun Lwe is the Roads2.Com Country Manager - Myanmar.  Tun Lwe was born in Tachileik Myanmar, Shan State near the Thai border.  After his early years in this small town, he attended the University of Yangon and received his degree in Electrical Engineering. 

An opportunity to become involved in the tourism industry emerged, and Tun Lwe  has been involved in that activity ever since.  He started as a licensed tour guide and has managed every aspect of a travel tour agency.

Tun Lwe has two small children.  He likes basketball and reading.  His favorite food beyond Burmese is Thai. He likes to travel and has visited Thailand, Singapore, Malaysia, China and India.  His favorite spot in Myanmar is Inle Lake.  Beyond Burmese and English, Tun Lwe speaks Thai, Lao and Mandarin.


SungHye was born in Korea, and lives in Seoul.  Her 2 young daughters keep both herself and husband very busy.

SungHye graduated from the University in Seoul and majored in Computer Science.  She has worked in the IT/telecom industry for over 13 years as a software developer.  She has extensive travel to several different countries including the USA, Japan, Singapore, Mexico, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Thailand and Malaysia.  She has always found herself fascinated and motivated when experiencing different cultures. 

When SungHye is not working, she enjoys swimming and farm work.  Her favorite places to visit are Singapore and Japan.  Beyond Korean and English, she speaks Japanese and French.
 

Grace Guo is the Roads2.Com Country Manager - China.  She was born in Xi'an, the home town of the world famous Terra-cotta Warriors.  She received her university degree in German, and began her career in the tourism industry as a tour guide.  During those years, Grace traveled extensively  including Tibet, the Silk Road, Yangtze and many other famous destinations within China.  In 2000, Grace moved to Beijing and expanded her experiences to travel tour management.  She prides herself in providing travelers with reliable, professional and accurate services.

Grace Guo has a lovely daughter, and enjoys spending time with her family.  She also likes movies, reading and swimming.  Grace has visited many countries in Europe, SE Asia and South Africa.  Beyond Mandarin and English, Grace speaks fluent German and 'Schwitzdutch'.
 

WenWen Chen is Roads2.Com Country Manager - Taiwan.  She was born and raised in Taichung, Taiwan.

WenWen started her involvement in the travel industry after receiving her degree from the University of Taiwan.  She majored in Philosophy and Chinese Literature.  She was first a tour guide,  followed by operations responsibilities in several Taiwanese tour companies.   WenWen has always believed that each travel tour should be a holiday, and an education.  

WenWen's hobbies and interests include music, fashion & style, bicycle rides, walks and swimming.  She says, 'like a skylark, I get up early each day'.  She loves to travel, and enjoys Argentina and South Africa.

Beyond Mandarin, Hokkien and English, WenWen is fluent in Spanish.


Michi Uno is the Roads2.Com Country Manager - Japan.   She was born and raised in this 'Land of the Rising Sun'.   Michi received her degree in Liberal Arts from Tokyo University.  A friend introduced her to his travel tour company, and that has been her career for over 16 years.  Michi understands what it takes to fill each travel day with smiles and laughter. 

Listening to music each day is Michi.  She also enjoys movies, cooking,  hiking, and exploring.  She has traveled extensively to Germany, South America, Africa, MiddleEast, USA, Vietnam, China, Taiwan and Singapore.  Beyond Japanese and English, Michi is fluent in German.
